Muir PowerSync logs every genset, powerpack, and fuel tank visit in one place — works with no signal, syncs when you're back online, and keeps the whole team's info up to date automatically.

You'll only see jobs, equipment, and stock for the project(s) you're actually assigned to — that's deliberate, not a sync issue. If an asset, part, or past log looks like it's missing, it's most likely just not on your assigned project list yet — check with your supervisor rather than assuming something's broken.

Tap + NEW RECORD ENTRY. Fill in the project, asset(s) worked on, hours, fuel readings, and any comments. If there's a fault, add the details and repair action — this also pushes an instant alert to the team, with photos attached if you added any. Photos are optional on every entry, up to 3 — tap to choose from your camera or photo library, and each one's automatically resized before saving so it doesn't eat your storage. Clone Last Entry pulls forward everything from your last visit to that asset so routine checks don't mean retyping model numbers each time. Entries save offline instantly — no signal needed. Once saved, tap any entry to view it — Edit, Clone, Send via Email, and Download PDF are all one tap away from there, and tapping any photo opens the full original in Drive if you need to zoom in or download it directly.

Tap 📋 NEW COMMISSIONING REPORT for a full sign-off document when an asset first goes live — header details, asset identification, live readings, and the complete pre-start and electrical checklists, matching your standard paperwork. Enter a Project and a Location or Generator Serial and known details (model, fuel tank ID, etc.) auto-fill from what's already on file where possible. Every completed report shows up in its own Commissioning Reports list on the dashboard (gold badge, so it's never confused with a regular log), and from there you get the same Edit, Clone, Send via Email, and Download PDF options as a regular entry.

Tap 📅 DAILY STATUS UPDATE for a fast way to check in on a whole project at once — status notes, fuel, or hours across every asset, without a full log entry for each one. Fine to do even when you're not on site, e.g. estimating fuel or hours from known burn rates while Livelink/comms are down — you'll always be asked whether a fuel or hours reading is Confirmed or an Estimate, so it's clear how reliable a number is. Tap ✅ Finish Daily Update when done — it saves a full snapshot of every asset on that project, not just what you changed, so whoever reviews it later sees the complete picture with the ones you actually touched clearly marked. Shows up in its own Daily Updates list on the dashboard (indigo badge). This is separate from the Telegram /digest command further down — that's a quick text summary, not a saved record.

Tap 📝 PROJECT NOTES for a running log of quick comments on a project — a call with the customer, a heads-up for whoever's on site next, anything worth a record without a full log entry. Pick the project, type your note, and tap Save Note — it's stamped with the date, time, and your name automatically the moment you save it.

Open Equipment to see every asset's status (OK/Due/Overdue) and location. Tap ✏️ Update Status on any card to flag something without doing a full log entry (e.g. "Refuel due," "No comms — Attend"). For fuel tanks, tap ⛽ Update Fuel %, and for gensets, tap ⏱️ Update Hours — both ask whether it's a Confirmed reading (Livelink/comms) or an Estimate, so everyone knows how reliable the number is. Under 10% fuel shows Critical, 10–20% shows Low. Tap 📍 Move if an asset's been relocated to a different tower. If a brand-new asset isn't on the list yet, tap ➕ ADD NEW ASSET to register it yourself — model, ID, and location if known — rather than waiting on someone else to add it.

When something actually leaves a project for good, tap 🚫 Demobilise on its card (or the 🚫 icon in table view) — don't just leave it sitting there. This properly removes it from the active list and logs it, with today's date and who did it, to Demobilised History (the button next to Due/Overdue Only in the Equipment section). This is a bigger step than a status update — you'll be asked to confirm, and it's not something to undo casually. You can view or Print/PDF the full demobilised history any time, per project.

Parts used during a log automatically come off stock — no separate entry needed. If something's running low, use Flag Low Stock to alert the team. Stock Check is for a full physical count against what's on file. If a part isn't showing up for your project yet, tap ➕ ADD NEW PART — enter the part number first, and if it's already known under a different project, its description and model auto-fill and lock, so the same part never ends up listed two different ways across projects.

Everything works with no signal. Pending Sync at the top shows how many entries are waiting to upload. Tap Force Sync Cloud Data any time you want to push/pull manually. Wipe Cache clears local view history only — it won't let you run it if you have unsynced entries, so you can't lose work by accident. The app also checks for updates on its own and applies them automatically once it's safe to — you might occasionally notice a brief "new version ready" banner or see it refresh itself; that's expected, and it's built to never happen while you're actively filling in a form.
